Memorial Day Project Ideas

One of my favorite things to do is fold a piece of burlap in an old Pepsi-Cola tray. I use it to hold napkins at parties and it is always a huge hit!
Another great idea is to paint mason jars, which I featured over on hometalk as well! These can be great candle holders or utensil holders.
I also love these cocktail glasses. I dipped them in acrylic paints and voila!
If you are looking for a great hostess gift ideas or for something to keep people’s hands busy at your party….you can cut some tree slices. We painted with General Finishes and then sealed with modern masters so they were water proof!
You can also use a paddle bit (1.5″) and cut holes for tea light candles! Paint and decorate to your taste and you have super cute candle holders!
All great ways to personalize your party on a budget and have one of a kind and great decor!
