Whew! What a whirlwind of a weekend. Before I start, I want to say a very big THANK YOU to everyone that came out. It was so great to meet you and make some new friends and see some old ones. We had an AMAZING weekend. September’s Vintage Market Days was great but this was above and beyond anything we could have planned for. St. Louis obviously loves this event! We were overwhelmed with attendance (amazing!).
Vendors stepped up and brought hay and wood chips in last minute, St. Louis Vintage Market days hired limos in addition to shuttles when things got crazy on Saturday and everyone had an amazing time! Can we all just give a shout out to JMG Design
for the amazing tent lighting??
The next location will be BIG. We are so excited! And all our furniture will be on concrete! WOO HOO! We love St. Louis Vintage Market Days and will always be a part of it. There is so much work that goes on behind the scenes and Chanda and Todd and their family are amazing. They even helped us load up late at night and our stuff isn’t exactly light as a feather. So Thank you to them for being awesome and thank you to YOU for coming out and supporting us!
So let me go over how awesome this weekend was. First, it started crazy. We were supposed to set up Thursday, and due to rain we switched to Wednesday. Well, we had record rain fall which created a swamp. I’m not kidding. In our tent, there was 4” of water. Luckily, we planned for this and had brought hay and wood stilts for our furniture to sit on. I went to check on our things Thursday night and when I was pulling up a tornado hit nearby. It was insane. Every day of the event had a huge line before we even opened to get in.
I didn’t have much time to shop throughout the weekend…but I did get a few amazing things.
1) I got an awesome “found” jewelry necklace from Red Headed Vintage girl
– By the way did you see her adorable set up?
2) I got a ring and pair of earrings from Ricochet Rounds
. They make jewelry out of spent bullets! HOW COOL IS THAT? They even made some special just for me because I wanted .357. LOVE
3) Tons of soup and dip from Thompson Farms booth. We have already dug in!
and probably most important…THE FOOD TRUCKS. I would have died if it hadn’t been for them and each and every one of them was beyond delicious.
Rachel- Did you sell my chandelier…if not… I need measurements and I probably want to buy it! Shades of Blue had a chandelier that had I not been a busy vendor, would have been hanging in my home by now!
And here is our booth…. You can follow us on facebook
or shop in our online store
for finished and unfinished pieces, paint, and DIY classes. We set up our booth with aisles so people could navigate easily and have multiple access points. Because, I am partially insane…I had made a diagram to scale with all our pieces to figure out the best way to do it ahead of time. I think it worked well. Hope you liked seeing our pieces in person!
We shared a space with Reclaim Renew
…who had coffee tables and barn wood goodness piled high. We hope you got to check them out too!
I can’t tell you how many amazing compliments we got during and since the event. What we do is a little bit different and people really seem to appreciate it. So thank you! It means the world to us to hear that you guys like what we are doing and can notice the quality and attention to detail. I can’t tell you how great that was to hear! We are always learning and improving our products and we are excited for what the future holds. These events are great and we love being around vendors that can support each other! There is room for everyone’s style! The Painted Home was a great neighbor and they were so sweet!
Make sure you follow us on facebook and sign up for our mailing list at the bottom of this web page so you don’t miss out on any details or news!
P.S if you came to the fair you found out that we now sell MODERN MASTERS! YAY! We will be posting the products soon and setting up shipping for MM and General Finishes in the near future.
P.P.S We have a saint for a neighbor and if it wasn’t for her and her help on Friday and then watching out for our girls all weekend…none of this would be possible. Thank you to all our helpers (especially my mother and father n law) and all our friends and family and facebook family for stopping by. MEANS THE WORLD TO US. Seriously.
